Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to visit Chris Paine's new green home. As I mentioned last week, Chris directed the movie, "Who Killed The Electric Car."

I have to say, the place was amazing. Solar, low VOC paint, an organic garden. It was a beautiful home, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to take a tour. Though my favorite part of the evening was getting a lift to the house via an electric Toyota Rav4. Not so much because I just love electric cars, but because my good friends, Lillian and Carlos Batts, got their first experience in an electric vehicle.

I tell ya, no matter how many times I share this stuff with friends, the response is always the same - "Why aren't these things everywhere?"

While I have my suspicions, I'll leave that one "open for discussion."
